dhtmlxWindows is a JavaScript control which enables developers to build cross-browser dialog windows. The component mimics the behaviour of operating system dialogs and provides all common functionality which is available in a desktop environment: the windows can be closed, minimized/maximized, resized, put on top, dragged, etc.

The content within a window can be populated from external link, or any object from a web page can be attached to it. With dhtmlxWindows developers can implement modal or non-modal dialogs which can be grouped or displayed individually.

Like regular dialog boxes dhtmlxWindows have various buttons which allow end-users to interact with windows, any custom buttons can be added to the component. As the component comes with different skins, it can be easily customized to match the design of any web application or site. Rich JavaScript API provides the possibility to control all windows' attributes and customize each aspect of look and behaviour of dialog boxes.
